Lloyda Bangura is a knitwear design of Sierra Leonean British heritage. Merging influences from her West African heritage, 90s and y2k nostalgia, she is forming a conceptual slow fashion brand.
Bangura is focussed on creating a modernist, innovative approach to textiles and knit that can flourish in the future.
After graduating from her BA at London College of Fashion, Bangura was still intrigued to explore the possibilities of textiles further. This led her onto a Masters degree at Nottingham Trent where she investigated her excitement for emerging technology in textiles and expanded her creative skills to new heights.
